Nearly 250 University of Dayton students from almost every field of study will participate in the 16th annual Celebration of the Arts, an evening designed to bring the campus and greater Dayton community together through exhibits and performances.
Through the national nonprofit RE-volv and its solar ambassadors program, 15 University of Dayton students have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for an 11.5 kW solar installation to move Dayton's Mission of Mary Cooperative closer to its goal of running entirely on renewable energy.
The University of Findlay is hosting the 2014 Juried Student Art Exhibition April 7-24, in the Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion, Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery, on campus. Any UF student was eligible to enter artwork for consideration. The Iowa State University chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) was recently named Outstanding Student Chapter of the Year by the national organization for its innovative efforts to support membership, member growth and for their contributions to the community through educational outreach, fundraising, and events for K-12 students. This is the fifth time they have received the award in the past 13 years. They were recognized at the 98th AMS Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas in January. The students earned additional honors securing first place for their local chapter poster. The poster showed the chapter's activities over the past year including photos from social events, outreach events, and fundraising initiatives.
Fall 2017 Dean's List
A total of 47 first-year Carthage College students won scholarships ranging from 75 percent of tuition to full tuition, room, and board through a variety of scholarship competitions.
Seven Knox students received Benjamin Gilman International Fellowships during the 2016-17 academic year. The fellowship helps defray the cost of study abroad in places around the world, including Korea, Germany, Thailand, and Peru.

Eleven University of Dayton students of all majors were selected for summer internships in state government through the Statehouse Civic Scholars Program.
Nearly 600 high school seniors competed in Augustana College's annual Scholarship Competition on January 17, 2015. Students competed for $4,000 scholarships awarded by each academic department at Augustana. Winners of the scholarships will be notified by March 1, 2015.
